It is always hard to guage how many people read the text that is involved with a sight that is geared towards photos and videos. I am sure we all like a little editorial or light reading with our beautiful photos but sometimes I sit around pondering what actual reading participation exists since we all know what we are here for…wink,wink!

If you are reading this that means you obviuosly read the Daily Word so no need to draw attention to that but I would like to remind everyone about our message board. This came to mind earlier this month. There are about 5 or 6 of us that converse regularly and I can honestly say that I have really come to enjoy the interaction over the past 4-6 weeks. A great post started a little over a week ago when one of the message board regulars—ShayFan,to be exact—started a thread by posting the highlights of the next months issue since the calendar had just published a few hours previous. Now normally I use one of my daily word spots per month to do this but ShayFan was so on the button with his description that I couldn’t find anything further to add…my idea was to just post a screen capture of his post and use it as my DW(hehe…sneaky,huh)…but alas, the image below shows what an utterly poor idea that turned out to be…

the size of this template just doesnt allow for readable text no matter how tight I cropped and I still wanted it to be recognizable that it was from the message board.
